Summerland Chuffer fitted - straightforward as per Chris's site

 

 

smokebox painted with BBQ paint - ended up with a satin finish which I think looks good

 

 

 

view from the bridge - I have pained the top of the chuffer black since

 

 

out on the line - looks good, and makes a nice noise too, especially uphill

 

 

Similar attempts with Russell - chuffer fitted [not visible of course] - works fine - run yesterday in the snow
