Railway Pie

Take a look at the labels on the pie chart below. We all enjoy various aspects of our hobby in differing degrees. It has helped me to think about which bits of my Garden Railway I enjoy most and which parts really don't mean as much. Maybe it can help you to understand your views and those of your friends in the hobby too.

As an example, I have shown my own pie chart below. If contributors are willing to add their own numbers, we can produce a pie chart for each and a summary chart for all contributors.

Now some others have added theirs, I am thinking hard about whether I really "collect" anything. I confess that I probably do, even if it's railway books rather than stock or locos. My stock and locos have to earn their living but if I see a book which fits my interests, I confess to buying it even though I might not read it very extensively. Is that collecting?

PS wish I could reduce the size of the pie.
