The L&L exists primarily to allow me to run steam locomotives, my real passion...well, one of them. Bikes feature a lot in my life too!
The L&L in my mind, was built as a branch from the Manx Northen Railway at Sulby Bridge, heading North to serve the villages of St Judes, Andreas and Bride - a quest which spectacularly failed. The remaining stub in the Andreas area has been re-opened by a preservation society who would appear to have collected a very odd assortment of locomotives and stock - very much like the early days of such lines as the Keighley and Worth Valley - anything goes. Scale modelling I save for indoors!
