by JSJ Lincoln Show pictures finally back from the lab (!). Indian Hill Railway is superb. Indoor 16mm live steam and quite scenic in parts. Lots of Darj B class in various liveries. And of course the famous Garratt I just know someone is going to tell me what this beastie is (not on the IHR!) Andel had his new Ffion battery loco. At £95 including manual battery speed controller I reckon it's a bargain. It has Punch-like looks but is all resin. The PWM speed controller is tiny and is £17.50. It will take up to 2 Amps at 15V (I reckon - check with Andy). And famous people were in attendance too (it's Tag Gorton for those who might not know). This is Simon Whenmouth's stand with lots of luvverly used live steamies for sale. It was a great atmosphere at the show, plenty of traders and I thank David (Dai) for providing the Chauffeured limo service. (JSJ) |
