Here it is as ground cover at Short Wood crossing on the Evensford and Midland. Some might say it's a bit overgrown!

There are those who say they wish they had never introduced it into their garden although I am finding it doesn't spread too much.

 

M-Y-O-B / Baby's Tears is actually growing between the rails and one point on the WGLR - suprisingly, perhaps, considering that the railway is track powered,  this doesn't cause any great problems. An occasional trim may be required, but frequent running (when time and weather allows) keeps the rails clear. This gives the sort of slightly run-down feeling that I am so fond of. This picture also illustrates how this plant will "cascade" over walls etc. in this situation to hide my secret bag of ballast stash.

The strip of "grass" alongside the second loco by the way, is actually "Astro-turf". It blends in nicely with the real plant.
