The posts are all visible on this page and they are pages in their own right.  The main part of those pages is visible here; comments on those pages appear only on the underlying page.  This makes it great for seeing the 'content' here, and the 'commentary' only if you want to.

This top section of text is perfect for introducing the general topic of the page - whether that's Baldwins, Site News, Thymes, etc.  The specific information is in the Posts.  Authors names are on the Posts, rather than here.
